I have a tefal FV 9230 8 300 iron as well. I am finding white specks are coming out the vents everytime I use it - very annoying. I was wondering if there was a way I could clean it out on the inside to get rid of these? I was going to use a de scaler on it but the back of the descaler packet said not for use on Tefal products. Fill up your iron and get it good and hot then let it sit a couple hours.

Once you have it good and clean By a gallon of bottled water at the market and use that for your Iron and you will never have a scale problem again.
