I've just bought a Parrot CK3000 Evolution. Got it for £60 buy it now off ebay.

They get a good review and with the now £60 & 3 points for using your phone, I'm hoping it'll keep me out of trouble. I'm starting to think that it'll be a pain in the butt installing it. There's a big controller box that I'm not sure where I'm going to put it. Countless wires.

Install Guide - Parrot CK3000 into a 2005 CTS-V This is a very straight forward install. The hardest part is running the power to the trunk and tucking the wires for the control and microphone. This work can be minimized however depending on where you mount everything. Summary of Contents for Parrot CK3000. Page 1 If your CK3000 was installed by a professional, go directly to the next section, the Connection Phase. The CK3000 consists of an electronic control box, a microphone, a keypad with “On” and “Off” buttons and two ISO car radio connection harnesses.

Thing is, I'm not the best with electrics. I've wired in car radios before but usually a bit of a cowboy job. If I'm going to do it myself I need a decent radio wiring diagram. I've done a search on here but still a bit confused. Anyone know where I can buy an ISO Clio adapter for it? I've tried the Parrot site and could only find the Megane Cabasse radio adaptor. I'm assuming it's the same as the Clio?

Parrot ck3000 review

Thing is, my radio does not have Cabasse written on it like a 182 does, mines a 53 172. It looks the same mind. Basically, anyone offer any help into how to fit it or point me to where I can buy a ISO connector? One question before I go back outside, while you guys are on. I noticed earlier that the sound is quite loud, so I turn it down.

When I take keys out and put back it, the sound is loud again. Also, when sending my first contact to the parrot, Andy, it asks for his name, to say home, cellular (I just said mobile) and work. Then when I send anyone else eg mam, it'll ask for the name but then when I've said mam, it'll not ask for work, cellular etc, it'll just say completed.

How To Install Parrot Linux

Both Andy and my mam have home and mobile numbers stored in my phone. Managed to pull out the radio, find the leads, swap them and stuff everything back in. The lights now go off when keys are out. It's not so much that tomtom is on it's side, it's an app I have for the N80 which allows you to turn the screen to landscape, it's called 'rotateMe'. It's a pain to get working but is good when you do. On 50% zoom, in landscape, you can see pretty much a whole webpage only scrolling up and down rather than left and right too. I actually prefer tomtom in portrait though.

Incidentally, I'd recommend this kit to anyone. Takes a bit of time to get used to the settings and how they work and sending your contacts across to it. After that it's a case of. Leaving your bluetooth on your phone on. Getting in your car, turning the ignition on, the phone then auto pairs with the parrot, i have my phone set to change itself to car profile, then you're away. I say 'phone, paul, mobile (or home or work)' then it rings the phone. You can say 'hang up' at the end of a call.

You don't have to touch the phone at all. You don't even have to touch the parrot controls. Does anyone know how to stop it from making the dialling sound when it calls someone ie the sound of all the keys being pressed? Really good system. Easy to install bar taking the dash off which isn't hard really.

I'm going to relocate the microphone to the top of the a-pillar or near the rear view mirror. Does anyone know if the sound should be coming out of just the front speakers? It seems to be just them. When I have tomtom on my phone on, the woman's voice now comes out of the speakers. When it does, by the time the signal has been sent to the speakers, it's missing off part of the instructions. Ie instead of saying 'you have reached your destination' I'm getting 'eached your destination'.

Is there any way you can think of that I can get the tomtom voice to still come out of the phone? Even when I switch my phone to the general profile, the voice comes out of the speakers (as it's still paired up with the parrot).
